About Us
Our Vision
We believe in a world where no one gets left behind — where recovery replaces punishment, and inclusion replaces inequality.
At bthechange CIC, we create lasting change by empowering individuals and communities impacted by the criminal justice system
Our Story
Founded in 2016 by Josh Stunell, bthechange CIC a powerful vision.
Born out of the ache of witnessing people being unseen, unheard, and unsupported by systems that should have been safe, the organisation grew into a movement for transformation, equity, and belonging.
Our Values
Our lived values guide every decision we make:
Relationship: Change starts with connection.
Authenticity: We show up as our true selves, always.
Compassion: We lead with empathy and care.
Equity: We challenge systems to be fair and inclusive.
Our Work
Creating Pathways to Change
We deliver programmes that meet people at
critical points of transition — from prison to community, from instability to safety, from isolation to connection.
Our Impact
Measuring What Matters
We measure success in relationships, recovery, and renewed trust.
Our impact goes beyond numbers — it’s about belonging, stability, and systemic change.
Partnerships & Collaboration
We work alongside Way Through, HMPPS, CASS Plus, Colab, Clocktower Surgery, Clinks and others — bridging gaps between community and system to deliver meaningful, sustainable change.
